The Kuta System in Relationship Compatibility - Part seven of nine on Kutas 7/9

Nadi Kuta - Spiritual Compatibility                                           Guna 8

This is the most important compatibility as it shows how a couple works on a spiritual level and how their union will impact their children through the genes they inherit. This kuta has the highest marks, therefore lack of this compatibility means a large reduction in overall compatibility.
It is important for a couple to be spiritually compatible as it binds them together in a very special way.
Nadi are very important for true compatibility. Nadi kuta take into account the doshas (body types) which are used in Ayurveda. The doshas are the elementary principles on which the sustenance of the body depends. There are three body types based on the biological humours or Dhatus, known as Vata, Pitta and Kapha. Each nakshatra is classified as a specific body type. When they are in balance in the body then we are healthy. When one or the other predominates, it creates imbalances and illness. The three body types are qualities of Prakriti, the inherent nature. If this nature is in balance all is fine but if they get out of harmony, it creates lots of problems.
As Prakriti easily gets out of balance due to time, weather, emotions, life itself, it is very easy for one of the forces of nature to get into a state of Vikriti or troubled nature. This is why this kuta suggests that for a couple to be truly comptible they should have different sets of prakriti. If they both have the same set of prakriti, it gets out of balanced together and that creates unhappiness spiritually as well as emotionally.
Doshas means a fault and here if one partner has a dosha of one of the three humours, it indicates that they be out of balance in that qualitiy. marrying or being with someone with a similar dosha can lead to an imbalance. Here the principle of the doshas is taken into relationship compatibility. If you are of the same body type, then you are not providing a balance to your partner. Therefore the children can inherit the imbalances as well.
These different doshas give an ability to relate spiritually. If you are born with the same dosha, there is lack of nadi compatibility and the two souls do not connect spiritually.
This kuta promotes health, longevity and happiness of having children.
The Types of Prakriti
There are three types of Prakriti. Vata, Pitta and Kapha.
Vata -the Air quality
The natural qualities of Vata are action, sensation, and enthusiasm. Both being  Vata shows adverse health effects on the couple, financial crisis and worries. Vata people are worriers by nature, they are nervous and prone to tension. if one worrys, the other can aggravate their stress more.
Pitta - the Fire quality
Pitta produces heat, desires, cheerfulness, intelligence, vision. Two pitta can be a fiery combination and when aggravated can create anger, overt ambitions and too many desires. The do not balance each other. Fire out of control can burn all it effects. Pitta can create unexpected events that create major stresses on realtionships.
Kapha - the Water quality
Kapha bring potency, strength, and forbearance. A couple owning this dosha may find lack of energy, lethargy and selfishness mars the relationships. They can be too lazy to make effort on the relationship. Their emotions can rule them at the cost to their relationship.
The Nakshatra have different prakriti and the Moon in Nakshatra at birth decides the nature.
