November 2009 Rahu in Sagittarius and Ketu in Gemini - Intellectual and spiritual dillemmas
November begins with easing of situations that were created by the five debiliated planets. Already Venus is out of the picture and soon Sun will also be in Scorpio.Then in December Jupiter completes its year long transit in Capricorn and moves into Aquarius. Mars continued long debilitation debilitation is rare and through up particular challenges for the Defence Forces. There were two military strongholds breached, The pakistani military headquarters and then the Fort Hood Military base in USA. It is important for the military and their personelle to shore up their defences as a weak Mars is showing holes in their defense structure. Pakistan is particularly effected as its ascendant is Aries too.
Venus will be in Libra most of this month from 3 to 26 Nov, giving positive influence to Libra lagna - who can experience all around strength and well being. This is a transit Malavya yoga promises wealth, happiness and status. Other lagnas that benefit too from this yoga is Aries, Cancer, Libra and Capricorn. Expect good news for Capricorn lagna President Obama. For Aquarius and Gemini it is 9th and 5th lord in its own houses.
The strength of Venus has been very good for the financial markets. Last month when it was debilitated, there was a massive correction and the moment it went into Libra, the markets have turned bullish. The main Story of this month is the change of the nodal axis on 17th November
The dilemma of Rahu Ketu - 17 November 2009 to 6 June 2011
Rahu moves in Saggitarius and Ketu into Gemini on 17 November 2009 and remains there for 18 months and exits on 6 June 2011. The first thing to study is what are these houses Rahu Ketu effects in your chart and then what planets they are going to transit over. The general rule is that Ketu takes away and Rahu gives, they throw up many psychological challenges that create inner turmoils within us as we are drawn to the polarities of the nodal axis. As Sagittarius is the sign of Spirituality and inner growth- Rahu will focus on that. Rahu in Sagittarius may also see a new way of looking at religion. There may be some breakthrough in the radical religious ideologies. But this can be birth of new ways of using religion and spirituality too. Ketu the planet of moksha is transiting Gemini, therefore challenging the intellectual barriers of Gemini thinking. They will make them flex their boundaries and bring innovative and spiritual though for them. The good aspect of this transit is that there are no conjunctions with other major planets, Jupiter and Saturn.
Mars Rahu and Mars Ketu conjunctions will need to be watched. The next Mars Rahu conjunction will be on 12 Dec 2010. This can be a tough date for a violent or destructive event to take place. Mars Rahu generally bring out terrorist activities but it is difficult to tell where exactly this event will happen. There is no Mars Ketu conjunction in Sagittarius. Rahu is transiting positively for Cancer, Libra, Aquarius and Pisces Lagna while Ketu is doing for Aries, Leo, Libra and Capricorn lagnas. As with Rahu Ketu- if one part is positive, the other is throwing up challenges. Therefore its transits will throw up challenges for people.
The first major eclipse of this axis is on 14th Janaury on the Sankranti day- the day Sun moves from Sagittarius to Capricorn. I will write more on this in the January 2010. To watch for
