Last Major Test for Mars and Venus faces Ketu
This has been a very testing time for Aries and Scorpio Lagnas as Mars continues with the tough transits. First it was debilitated and now it is facing tough blocks from Saturn in Leo. Also this Saturn Mars Conjunction is on the same degree as the Saturn Ketu conjunction of October 2007. Those who have planets on 10 degrees of Leo are further being aggravated by this transit.
On the positive side, this is the last of the big transits that have created so much angst or difficulties for most of us since November 2006. The culmination of the tough transits means that situations will calm down for a while and we will now be able to work with the new realities revealed by the changes that have happened so far. Also Mercury is very strong during this period, helping us to cope with by rationlising and giving us the intellect to cope.
There are two main conjunctions this month. the Mars Saturn conjunction of 10 July and the Venus Ketu conjunction of 27 July.  6th July may also be tough as Moon connected with both Saturn and Mars.
Aries and Scorpio have had the most difficult time as the last three months have not been easy for them, while Capricorn and Aquarius will face the last of the tough transits. Aries are facing this transit in their 5th house of children and creativity and Saturn is aspecting finances negatively. Scorpio are dealing with career but Saturn also aspects their home and relationship areas. Both lagnas need to exercise caution during this time.
For Capricorn this conjunction and Shani's long transit is in their 8th house and ashtama shani is not helping them at all. There can be unexpected transformations while feeling under extreme pressure themselves and this time specially is one to take it easy. Aquarius will face this conjunction in the 7th house of relationships and this is again a tough transit for them signifying change ( most of it would have already happened)
This is a tough time and we can make it easier for ourselves by leading a simple life during this period. focusing on the higher self and spending time in meditation and mantras.
The Venus Ketu conjunction happens annually and this year it is in Cancer on 27th July. It promises a few difficult dates for Taurus and Libra ascendants. Most of this month Venus is with Ketu and therefore they will feel like giving up everything. Ketu promotes rejection in search for moksha but we tend to reject what is happening around our life.
Gemini and Virgo enjoy Mercury's Transit in Gemini
6th to 23 July 2008 Mercury goes into Gemini creating a transit Bhadra Yoga for Gemini and Virgo lagnas. This is a very positive time for them as they are simultaneaously enjoying Jupiter's transit in Sagittarius and a transit hamsa yoga. As their lagna lord is strong, they will be able to deal with the tough transits more easily. Sagittarius and Pisces lagnas will also deal with this transit well as their lagna lord is strong and they will benefit from the transit Bhadra yoga in their 7th and 4th houses respectively. Bhadra yoga brings success and happiness and the strength of Mercury during these other difficult transts means that we are able to rationalise and work though our problems.
The activity in Gemini this month is especially significant because this is happening in the 7th house from Jupiter. This may mean that relationships could begin this month or be solemnised in marriage as both karakas for marriage ( Venus and Jupiter) are opposite each other in early July and being helped by Mercury and the Sun for deep soul level communication. Gemini and Sagittarius maybe most affected personally with  Virgo and Pisces Lagnas  affected through work and home by possibly attending weddings of relatives or colleagues.
