Michael Aram Tarr: Goddesses and Gods in Jyotish
Michael is a freelance photographer living in New Delhi, India and Berkeley, California. He first became interested in India at the age of 5 when he accompanied his father who was working on his Ph.D. in Indian art history, to India in 1966.
Michael published his first book in 2008, Through the Eye of Time; Photographs of Arunachal Pradesh, 1859 -2006, published by Brill Press in the Netherlands.
Michael's work has been shown in India, Great Britain and the USA. In 2010 he was the first contemporary photographer to have his photographs of India incorporated into the Indian Office Collection of the British Library.
