| February 28 | The overview of the Course, The important aspects we must remember regarding Rules for interpretations. We begin with Nabhasa Yogas, the special planetary connections formed in the sky. There are four different categories of Nabhasa Yogas called Ashraya, Dala, Akriti and Sankhya. Each category has a sub category making 32 Nabhasa yogas. |
| March 6 | Nabhasa Yoga continued plus analysing other important yogas like Saraswati, Budha Aditya and more. |
| March 15 | Rahu Ketu Yogas- Guru Chandala, Kal Sarpa and Sarpa Yoga. |
| March 20 | Using other varga charts in Interpretation- Navamsha is the most important of the divisional chart. Knowing how to interpret it and work with the Rashi chart is the essence of interpretation. We will discuss Vargottamma, Pushkara, Rashi Tulya, bhava suchaka and many techniques of using navamsha properly. |
| March 27 | Navamsha deals with relationships, type of partner, will the soul achieve its desires, Dharma of an individual. |
| April 3 | Saptamsha Varga for Children, how many, what is the quality of relationship with them. |
| April 10 | Dashamshaa for career, type of career, strengths and weaknesses of career, timing of changes in career, info about bosses, peers and subordinates. |
| April 17 | Dwadashamsha Varga Chart for past lives , issues we inherit, timing of past life problems and relationship with parents. |
| April 24 | No class due to BAVA conference. |
| May 1 | Vimshopaka, the strength in depth of the Vargas and special strengths of planets known as Visheshika amshas. |
| May 8 | Badhaka signs- Badha means block and certain signs and their rulers can create blocks. How to interpret them. |
| May 15 | More on Panchanga- Studying Dagdha Rashi or burnt houses. How they effect the quality of the houses they rule. |
| May 22 | More on Panchanga - Yogi, Duplicate yogi and ava yogi planets. Yogi planets are extremely positive ones while ava yogi create problems. |
MODULE TWO - Rules of Interpretation Course 5 June to 28 August 2012 |

| June 5 | Karaka means the doer, the significator. Karakas are the essential tool for Vedic astrologers. Planets take on the mantle of the karakas. These karakas drive the chart in fulfilling the soul's demands. Specific areas of life have different karakas. Karakas- Sthira, naisargika and chara. Introduction to Atmakaraka, the most important significator which deals with soul and its desires and lessons. |
| June 12 | The 8 Chara Karakas- Atma, Amatya, Bhratri, Matru, Pitri, Putra, Gnati and Dara karaka. |
| June 19 | Shadbala, the 6 fold strength of the planet and the karmic structure of the chart. The six strengths of the chart are Sthana Bala or Residential Strength, Dig Bala or Directional Strength, Kala Bala or Temporal Strength, Chesta Bala or Motional Strengt, Naisargika Bala or Natural Strength and Drik Bala or Aspect strength. |

| August 28 | Sade Sati, the seven and a half year transit of Saturn and other complex Saturn transits. How the nadi nakshatras effect Sade Sati. |
MODULE THREE - Rules of Interpretation Course 11 September to 27 November 2012 |

| September 11 | House by house analysis- overview of the chart, strengths and weaknesses, Planets, nakshatras, Yogas, navamsha, the role of the divisional charts in natal chart analysis, the karakas and shadbala. |
| September 18 | Lagna and Sudarshana chakra- Malefic and benefic planets, Atmakaraka and connection to navamsha. The karakas of all houses will be discussed including the Jaimini karaka. Arudha lagna or the shadow ascendant. |
| September 25 | 2 and 3 Houses- Dhana ( wealth) and Vikrama ( Courage, siblings) and their connections to Hora and Drekkana divisions. |
| October 2 | 4 and 5 Houses Matru ( Mother, Happiness) and Putra ( children) and connection to Chathurtamsha and Saptamsha Divisions. |
| October 9 | 6 and 7 houses - Ari ( enemy, health and healing) and Jaya ( marriage, Relationships.) includes gnati and dara karaka. |
| October 16 | 8 and 9 houses Ayu ( length of live, transformation, mysticism, moksha, inheritance) and Dharma or Bhagya ( spirituality, Guru, Father, luck). |
| October 23 | 10, 11, and 12 Houses. Karma ( career), Labha ( profit, earnings) and Vyaya (expenses, pleasures of the bed and moksha). |
| October 30 | Remedial measures, Gem therapy, fasting, and mantras - What Gems to prescribe as remedial measures. What to watch out for. How to prescribe mantras, knowledge about japa, maha mantras and calming the mind. what are the important fasts and how to get the best out of them. |
| November 6 | Analysing Dashas and studying it with the nakshatra dispositors. The five dasha levels. |
| November 13 | Mastering the dasha bhukti. |
| November 20 | Transits and how the yogas formed by transit can enhance or detract from our chart. |
