| Venus remains strong while Mars takes some hits |

| April begins with major pressure of a Mars Saturn opposition on 4 April. This will be stressful and it can suddenly fuel tensions and stresses around the world as seen by the G20 protests that are already taking place in London. Generally Aries and Scorpio plus Capricorn and Aquarius will feel the pressure from this conjunction. Specially for Aries and Scorpio, it will be in the form of some delay or frustration. Best is to be patient during the transit and allow it to pass. Unless you cannot avoid the issue, it is best to tackle them after the transit. |
Venus remain retrograde forthe first half of the month and then turns direct on 17th April. One of the major aspects of Venus this month is that it is moving extremely slowly and even when it moves direct it continues to go so slow that the much slower Mars will catch up with it and conjoin on 21 April. This will be a a more pleasurable hit for Mars thasn the earlier Saturn one. Lagna/ Rising Signs ruled by Mars and Venus- Aries, Taurus, Libra and Scorpio - may find reltionship issues at the forefront. Venus Mars conjunctions tend to deliver quick passions and are not always good at long term. | Venus retrograde has been good for stock markets as they have risen- specially in USA quite spectacularly since it began. Therefore its direct motion may bring about some correction in the markets. Something to watch for. |
| Also the slow motion of Venus can help us to slow down and think about live generally and not make too hasty decision. Venus's continued exaltation can help life the mood of the world from extreme pessimism to one of cautious optimism. Venus is Pisces is about sowing seeds for the future that will bring good rewards. So this may be a good time to think of the future in a new way and how to plan so that it is more profitable and fruitful than the past 8 years ( Venus was last retrograde in Pisces in 2001). |
| It is a neutral month with very little other activity going on- giving all of us a respite from major dramas. Sun becomes exalted on 14 April to 15 May. Helping Leo lagnas who have been going through the stress of hosting Saturn for the last few year. |
| Mercury moves out of debilitation in Pisces on 6th April. It rushes through Aries and moves to Taurus on 23 April. Mercury in Taurus is good for Virgo lagnas. |
| After the first week of April, it is a month to enjoy. Most of the issues are of the past and in the cyclical nature of life, we are bringing the spring in to enjoy and plan for new growth. |
