| Special Jupiter and Venus and Complicated Mars |
| Jupiter shines brightly as it is both vargottamma and pushkara throughout April. Jupiter is Vargottamma from 26°40 to 30° Sagittarius and this is also its pushkara navamsha. click here to read more about pushkara. Jupiter comes to this position once in every 12 years and this year it is more special as it retrogrades over this point and therefore prolonging this positive aspect. Venus is also supporting this postive energy by being exalted in Jupiter's other sign Pisces. This makes it positive for many people - Taurus, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Sagittarius and Pisces benefit the most. |
| Complicated Mars with Ketu |
| Mars has been in Gemini for the last few months and now it ends its journey and moves into its debilitated sign of Cancer on 28 April. Aries and Scorpio will feel this most. What makes this more complicated is that Rahu ketu also change signs on 30th April to Capricorn Cancer Axis. Ketu after being for so long with Saturn now joins and complicates Mars. Mars will also loose the benefic influence of Jupiter so it will feel bereft. From 28 April to 21 June 2008- Mars remains debiltated and weak and this indicates lack of action, general health issues and wasteful use of energy fro Aries and Scorpio- they may use this time fruitfully by focussing on their personal well being and not expecting too much from themselves. Being careful about any decisions they make- this is not the right time for them to take decisions. I will be writing more about this in the next months newsletter as well as in June about the Mars Ketu conjunction. |
| Ketu in Cancer and Rahu in Capricorn |
| Leo will feel the easing with one of the malefic influence, Ketus moving away from their ascendants. Cancer will need to handle this energy of Mars Ketu for the coming months. But Mars is the best planet for Cancer and Ketu has the co-rulership of Scorpio- their 5th house ruler- so this may be better than it appears. |
| Ketu crosses the Gandanta point on 30th April as it moves into Cancer and this could lead to some changes in the world situation. If you have planets placed at the end of Cancer then you are going to experience Ketu. This can be an intense time. |
| As the eclipses now reach the Cancer Capricorn axis, these lagna or Moons can find themselves making changes in the next 18 months. Capricorn will find the greatest transformations as Saturn is in their 8th house of change and the elcipse now are forcing them to take action. |
