Sixteen is the number of perfection in the Vedas. It represents the fullness of existence, consciousness, and experience. The Shodasa Vargas or sixteen divisional charts are studied to understand the true nature of an individual. The connection between the mind, body and spirit is revealed. Each varga focuses on a different area of life and together they represent the complete picture. They reflect human consciousness, from reality to the subconscious. Eight divisional charts represent the physical life and conscious awareness (relationship, past life, career, children, prosperity etc), three divisional charts express the mind, happiness and striving for higher knowledge, two divisions show strengths and weaknesses and two unveil the spiritual development. The final varga reveals the subconscious and the deep-rooted karmic issues. This course will study all the divisional charts in details, their deities, their practical use, the subtle energies and how to interpret them.
